DD11HW2 Individual Resource Evaluation Part 2

DD11HW2 Individual Resource Evaluation Part 2

A. Lantz, “Teamwork on the line can pay off down the line,” Journal of Workplace Learning, vol. 23, no. 2, pp. 75–96, 2011.

When looking over this article I immediately noticed that the purpose of the article was to show how employees in the work place work more effectively when placed in teams. They found that employees when working in teams generate new ideas so that new better and more productive products can hit the shelves. This article provides further support to the idea of working in teams and how working individually is far less productive then working with a team member. This was proven because new possibilities, unexpected situations, and getting stuck with problems were some of the main causes of failures that individuals could not handle and having a team member would solve the problem in a matter of seconds.
